Susie Jaramillo is a mother, an artist, and a creative director who is the mother of two multilingual children. She worked in advertising for many years, co-founding the vox collective, a boutique multicultural agency based in New York, where she served as Chief Creative Officer until 2012. She majored in painting and illustration at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. Susie grew up bouncing back and forth between Venezuela and the United States, speaking both languages fluently. She was exposed to songs and traditions from both the United States and Latin America when she was a child. Canticos was designed to bring to life all of the things she liked about her Hispanic culture, and now kids of all ages may enjoy these nursery rhymes and songs!
