TIRE Annual 2021 by John Thomas

When John Ira Thomas was nine years old, he drew a picture at his only visit to Sunday school that resulted in him being asked not to come back. A New Age magazine called TIRE picked up on it and told the world that this picture had meaning. TIRE's readers then proceeded to make John's life a living hell for years. In 2000, he was given an opportunity to have his say in the final issue of TIRE (before it reverted to the tire industry magazine it once had been). Twenty years later, John was mailed an office chair and a set of clues that led him to create one more issue of TIRE. And this is it.

Thomas, John: - John L. Thomas is George L. Littlefield Professor of American History at Brown University. Among his publications is The Liberator: William Lloyd Garrison, which won the Bancroft Prize.
