Vivian French is a professional storyteller as well as an acclaimed children's author. Her many picture books include Please, Princess Primrose; A Song for Little Toad (shortlisted for the Smarties Book Prize); A Christmas Star Called Hannah and a retelling of A Christmas Carol. She is also the author of the Read and Wonder non-fiction picture books Caterpillar Butterfly (shortlisted for the Kurt Maschler Award); The Apple Trees; Spider Watching; and Growing Frogs. Vivian lives in Edinburgh and Bristol. Dana Kubick studied at the New York School of Visual Arts and has designed many well-known greeting cards, collectable porcelain mugs and plates, and even teddybear-shaped ice-cream wafers!
