She is married with three children and lives in a Bedfordshire village. Miriam Latimer grew up in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, and studied illustration at the University of the West of England, gaining a first class honours degree in 2003. Her first picture book, Wheelie Girl, was published in 2006. Since graduating, Miriam has married and moved to Plymouth where she works from her studio overlooking the sea.
