Ken Derby is a well-known novelist, monkey trainer, 12-minute rock celebrity, 5-minute TV star, 2-minute movie star, fisherman, and former CIA officer (okay. (Really, no). He can be found reading, working out, riding, or cheering on the Denver Broncos when he isn't teaching or writing. Ken is a fifth-grade teacher at the American International School of Budapest in Budapest, Hungary. One of his books, The Top 10 Ways to Ruin the First Day of School, was named a Children's Choices Honor Book by the International Reading Association and the Children's Book Council, as well as a winner of the Alabama Children's Choice Book Award Program.
