Roma Downey is an Emmy-nominated actress, producer, and author who has spent the last twenty-five years generating inspirational content. She was born in Northern Ireland and studied classical music in London. She rose to prominence thanks to her portrayal of Monica, a sweet angel on the famous network show Touched by an Angel. They created The Bible series, A.D., The Dovekeepers, Answered Prayers, and Resurrection for television, as well as feature films Son of God, Woodlawn, Little Boy, and Ben-Hur with her husband, Mark Burnett. Roma is the head of LightWorkers Media, a MGM-backed joint venture.
