Jamling Tenzing Norgay is the son of Tenzing Norgay, the first to summit Everest with Sir Edmund Hillary in 1953, and star of the IMAX film Everest, which recorded the terrible 1996 climb. He is also the Climbing Leader of the IMAX Everest Expedition. Tenzing Norgay Adventures, his family's travel adventure enterprise, teaches half a million climbers each year. When he is not climbing, Norgay lives in Darjeeling, India.
