Beginning with a comprehensive survey of previous literature devoted to the topic, Green next engages in a detailed examination of the early Pentecostal periodical literature in both the Wesleyan-Pentecostal and Finished Work streams of the movement in order to determine early Pentecostal attitudes toward, beliefs about, and practices of the sacraments in general and the Lord's Supper in particular.
