Jonathan Glancey is a writer, broadcaster, and critic. From 1997 to 2012, he was The Guardian's Architecture and Design Correspondent, and from 1989 to 1997, he was the Independent's Architecture and Design Editor. He was a founding editor of Blueprint and Assistant Editor of the Architectural Review before that. He currently writes for a variety of magazines, including the Daily Telegraph, L'Architecture d'aujourd'hui, the Architectural Review, and Architectural Digest, as well as producing films for the BBC. New British Architecture, 20th Century Architecture, Forgotten Buildings, and The Story of Architecture are among his many publications.
