Franco Tanel is a journalist and photographer who started his career in 1979 at the D-Day photography agency. He has worked for the leading Italian photojournalism agencies, such as Contrasto and Grazia Neri. Tanel writes about transport and city planning for specialist periodicals published by Il Sole 24Ore, and has been a contributor to Tuttotreno, the leading Italian railway magazine, since its first issue.
