Tramp by Chris Cooper
Tramp continues his long journey towards home and his beloved master Joe. As he's passing through a forest, Tramp comes across a young girl and her father. The man is unconscious and a bad situation becomes even worse when all three of them become caught up in a forest fire. Tramp manages to lead the girl to safety and helps rescuers to find her father, just in time.
Chris Cooper grew up in Manchester and later went to Cambridge University. He spent several years teaching English as a foreign language before becoming an editor of school books. Chris lives in Wisconsin, USA.
