He founded Trailblazer in 1991 to publish a series of route guides for adventurous travelers, which has since grown to over 40 publications. This 9th edition has been completely edited and enlarged by Anna Kaminski, a Russian-UK national and guidebook writer who has previously worked for Lonely Planet and Rough Guides.
