There is a world that needs help; but whether it needs the Concern is a different matter.
Consider Phlebas, Excession, and Inversions were among the highly appreciated works written by Banks (1954-2013), one of the most prominent science fiction authors in the United Kingdom. He also authored mainstream fiction under the name Iain Banks, including The Wasp Factory and A Song of Stone.
