Murphy, Austin: - AUSTIN MURPHY is Professor of Finance, Department of Accounting and Finance, Oakland University, Michigan./e Among his earlier assignments were a stint as a Visiting Professor at the Federal Home Loan Bank Board, and as a Fulbright Professor at the Free University of Berlin. He is author of two earlier books and more than 50 journal articles on investment and related financial topics, published in a wide range of professional and scholarly journals in finance and economics.
