Diana Reynolds Roome taught English as a foreign language in Nepal and Wolverhampton and is now a freelance writer and journalist specialising in travel, health and social issues. She has written educational books for Mary Glasgow Publications and was co-author with Dr Perry Gluckman of Everyday Heroes of the Quality Movement (Dorset House, New York). Her first book for Frances Lincoln was The Elephant's Pillow, illustrated by Jude Daly. Susan Winter is a highly successful illustrator for children. Her previous books for Frances Lincoln are Copy me, Copycub, Where Are You Hiding, Copycub? and Good Night Copycub all by Richard Edwards, Acker Backa Boo! by Opal Dunn, and Tabby Cat's Secret by Kathy Henderson.
