Jerry Oltion is the winner of the Nebula prize for a Abandon in Place, a which won the prize for the best short story in 1997. Another story, a The Astronaut From Wyoming, a co-written with Adam Troy Castro, was also nominated for the Nebula prize, as well as the Hugo in 2000. He has written twelve novels and more than one hundred short stories, including four titles from the Star Trek series; a Twilight's End, a a Mudd in Your Eye, a a Where Sea Meets Sky, a and a The Flaming Arrowa (the last title in collaboration with his wife Kathy).
