Twin Truths by Shelan Rodger
What is the truth? And how do you recognise it when you hear it? Jenny and Pippa are twins. Like many twins they often know what the other is thinking. They complete each other. When Pippa disappears Jenny is left to face the world alone, as she tries to find out what happened to her 'other half.' But the truth, for Jenny, can be a slippery thing.
'A moving, poignant story.. where the real power and tension can be found is in the truths, half-truths and lies that shape the central characters' Mark Goldring, Chief Executive Oxfam UK; 'Compelling, evocative, sharply observed and exquisitely written' Amanda Jennings; 'Inner turmoil, unreliable memories, lies and secrets: Shelan Rodger writes about relationships and identity with a truthfulness we find hard to live up to' Aidan Hartley
Shelan Rodger has lived a patchwork of different cultures and landscapes. Born in Nigeria, she grew up among an aboriginal community on an island north of Australia, and moved to England aged eleven. After graduating from Oxford, she travelled to Argentina, England and then Kenya. She now lives in Andalucia, Spain. Her professional career has revolved around international education and learning and development.
