Two Can Play by Margaret Sturton

Cat likes to work in the garden digging, planting seeds and growing vegetables. Puss doesn’t appear to see the point in gardening, she likes to be in the house sitting around drinking tea. But Puss really likes to eat delicious food, so when Cat makes a feast with her harvest, Puss wants to share… A wry tale of hard work and reward from rising star Margaret Sturton. Margaret's debut picture book A Fox Called Herbert has been longlisted for the Klaus Flugge Prize 2021 and the Jhalak Prize 2021.
"A cheeky little lesson in a fine feline fable" * Kirkus *
"Margaret Sturton breathes new life into a classic story" -- Julia Eccleshare * LoveReading4Kids - Pick of the Month August 2021 *

Margaret Sturton is a Hampshire-based author and illustrator who studied a BA and MA in Fine Art Sculpture, and subsequently gained an MA in Children’s Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art. Margaret’s mixed ethnic heritage inspires her exploration of identity and belonging, and the idea for her debut picture book A Fox Called Herbert came to her on a train journey as the words ‘I am a fox’ sprung into her mind.
