Heron Dance was developed by Roderick MacIver in 1995 to honor the seeker's journey as well as the spirit and beauty of all things wild. His paintings and thoughts are inspired by his love of the outdoors and the tranquility and rhythm he finds there. Roderick's watercolors are the ideal medium for expressing his love of nature, since they have a natural flow and simplicity. Rod was born in Canada and now divides his time between Heron Dance Press in Vermont and his workshop in the Adirondacks of New York.
