The Two Jacks by Tony Bradman
Jack Baker and Jack Barker couldn't be more different. Jack Baker is the perfect pupil - he always does his homework on time. Jack Barker is the bad boy who NEVER does anything right. But one day a new teacher mixes them up and things change forever in this charming story of mistaken identity. Particularly suitable for struggling, reluctant and dyslexic readers of 8+
Tony Bradman is a hugely prolific author with a particular passion for bringing history to life for young people. He is a regular at all the major literary festivals, reviews for the Guardian and is the Chair of the Siobhan Dowd Trust. Tony is perhaps best-known for his Dilly the Dinosaur series, which has sold over 2 million copies worldwide. He lives in Kent. Ross Collins describes his younger self as looking like a currant bun and being very fond of drawing. He is still fond of drawing and is now an award-winning author and illustrator, but no longer bears any great resemblance to baked goods. His picture book The Elephantom was adapted by the National Theatre. Ross lives in Glasgow.
