Clive Gravett resigned from the rat race in 2004 to start his own horticultural business, an interest in gardening history & particularly lawn mowers gradually emerged retiring in 2016 after founding a charity to support young people in need and opening the Museum of Gardening, both dedicated to Edwin Beard Budding inventor of the lawn mower in 1830. Clive has since emerged as one of the leading worldwide authorities on lawnmower history, regularly giving talks/lectures and writing articles on the subject.
