Kieran Whitworth was born in Doncaster and has spent his career working in London museums. He studied Archaeology at the University of Nottingham, before working at the British Museum.

Kieran has been the Book Buyer at Imperial War Museums for over 15 years, during which time he has developed his passion for military history, especially the history of World War Two. He lives in Andover, Hampshire, with his wife.
