With no money or time to raise Sophia, she decided to return to her hometown and live with her father in order to give her daughter a happy and peaceful childhood.
 
What she didn't expect was to run into Zac, her teenage love and Sophia's father. It's been four years since they last saw each other, ever since Zac ignored Beth's message about her pregnancy and disappeared from her life. Beth isn't ready or willing to have her heart broken again.

Hello, my name is Andrea Smith, and after many years of deliberation, I've concluded that writing is the career path for me. I've spent my entire life in Louisville, Kentucky, attempting to find the one thing I'm passionate about enough to pursue as a job. I spent my school years in advanced subjects, believing that if I worked hard and was brighter than everyone else, I would have a terrific life after college. Needless to say, I was completely incorrect. I went to DuPont Manual High School and majored in art, and while I was brilliant at it, I couldn't see myself working in a position where I could support myself only through my art.

I looked for a vocation that I felt confident in until I came across baking at Sullivan University. My Associate's Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts was earned there. The American Culinary Federation certified me as a pastry chef. So, what did I gain out of it?

My need to write stems from my life's adversities. While I despised writing at school, I never stopped reading and yearned to compose something as beautiful as the novels I had adhered to so tenaciously all these years. I didn't realize it until recently that writing what I wanted was a lot more fun than writing what the teachers wanted, and I now know that I don't have to write like the authors I read to be considered a 'good' author. I have my own stories to share and my own thoughts to write about.

I'm just curious to see where this leads.
