Unexpected by Wendy Smith

Wendy Smith contributes to The American Scholar as a contributing editor. Her book reviews and author profiles have appeared in a variety of publications, including The Washington Post, The Daily Beast, Newsday, Publishers Weekly, and others. She is a member of the Association of Professional Theatre Women and the ReGroup Theatre's Board of Advisors, and has published articles to American Theatre magazine.
