Vaseem Khan is the author of the Baby Ganesh Agency series and the Malabar House historical crime books, both set in India. The Unexpected Inheritance of Inspector Chopra, his first book, was a New York Times bestseller and has been translated into 15 languages. He received the Eastern Eye Arts, Culture, and Drama Prize for Writing in 2018. Vaseem was born in Newham, but worked as a management consultant in India for a decade.
