Unholy Dying by Robert Barnard
This was the juiciest story Cosmo Horrocks had had in years. This one had everything: religion, sex and money. All the story lacked was mystery, but when he acquired that too. Cosmo was not in a position to make very much of it.
'He plots a mystery as well as any writer alive' Time Magazine 'Barnard never disappointsThe psychological suspense is chilling' The Times 'Robert Barnard retails this finely suspenseful tale, incorporating the Hitchockian awkwardness of disposing of a body, with spellbinding step-by-step matter-of-factness' Sunday Times
Robert Barnard was born and brought up in Essex. After leaving Oxford he worked as a university lecturer in New South Wales, and then taught in Norwegian universities for seventeen years, returning to England in 1983 to write full time. He and his wife now live in Leeds.
