Not simply beautiful in themselves these islands serve as spectacular vantage points for the magnificent scenery around. From the great amphitheatre of the Firth of Lorne to the grandeur of the Cuillins from Soay, this book is a unique portrait of Scotlands forgotten islands. It is also a poignant reminder of islands long abandoned by man, and industry now long forgotten.
