Abigail Johnson has a bachelor's degree in science. Texas A&M University awarded him a B.A. in psychology and an M.A. in psychology. Sam Houston State University offers a master's degree in counseling. She joined Planned Parenthood in 2005 as a community services director and health educator, where she functioned as a liaison between the community and the organization as a media correspondent. Johnson then became the director of the health center, where he oversaw both the family planning and abortion services.
She quit Planned Parenthood in 2009 and became a volunteer with the local Coalition for Life. She continues to volunteer and is currently working on 40 Days for Life projects across the country. She and her husband, Doug, live in Texas with their small daughter.
