Usborne's Children Encyclopedia by Jane Elliott

J.Elliott is a Buddhist who lives in North Central Florida and works as an artist and writer. Ghost Lite, a collection of macabre ghost stories, was her first book. She works on Monkey Heart, the sequel to Monkey Mind, and Tales From Kensington, the next collection of scary stories, when she isn't tending to the needs of her Basset dog muse, Naughty Little Miss Edy-Mae. J.Elliott graduated with a B.A. The University of the South awarded me a bachelor's degree in English Literature. She has rediscovered her first love: writing, after 25 years of cog-in-the-wheel clerical employment.
