
The Preiss family arrived in Pennsylvania as part of the first wave of Mennonite immigrants in the area in 1705. Through investigation and research into her family's history and faith, Sarah Price has always revered and cherished her forebears. She befriended an Amish family when she was nineteen and lived on their farm for many years. She currently divides her time between her husband and children in the NYC metro area and a home she shares with an Amish woman in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where she retreats to ponder and write, twenty-five years later. Sarah Price takes pride in providing her readers with an real Amish experience as a skilled storyteller. Several of her stories are inspired by real people she's encountered and her own years spent living among the Amish.
