The Vampire Princess by Romkey

Flora was raised as a privileged daughter of a wealthy family in colonial Virginia. When hard times take a toll on the family's resources, Flora believes she will find a safe haven with her new husband, Richard. Unfortunately, Richard is not whom he appears to be. Flora's life soon spins out of her control. Her husband has a cruel streak. He drags her out to the wilderness of Kentucky, and her world quickly becomes intolerable and dangerous.

Flora soon meets a stranger who befriends her. The stranger, Two Speaks, a chief of the Cherokee natives, is instantly drawn to Flora's beautiful face and spirit. He begins to pursue her. He urges her to come away with him, even though she is already married. Knowing her husband as she does, Flora is afraid of the danger she will place Two Speaks in if she complies. This is a tale of two who were meant to be together. However, they will face many sorrows as they fight for their love.
