Wrap up warm and join little corgis Belle and Pip on a Christmas adventure in London! Sam was longlisted for the UKLA award for her 2009 novel BILLY ANGEL, published by A&C Black/Bloomsbury. Sam’s picture book STAR IN THE JAR, illustrated by Sarah Massini, published in January 2018. Sam is a passionate advocate of improving literacy in schools. She runs several book groups for primary school children, challenging, inspiring and supporting creative writing and a love of reading. Loretta won the Waterstone's 'Picture This' competition in 2012 and has since illustrated numerous picture books including Beauty and the Beast by Michael Morpurgo, A Monster's Moved In by Timothy Knapman and the Sky Private Eye series of picture books by Jane Clarke. Loretta has also illustrated several young fiction titles including the Dougal Daley series written by Jackie Marchant. She lives in London with her husband and pet hamster, Torben Redbeard.
