She has written articles which were published in CHRISTIAN ECONOMICS, THE FREEMAN, and OLD NEWS. Erica has read sociology books from those of its founder, Auguste Comte, to the present day. She has attended teachers' conventions, seminars and workshops. She has interviewed school board members, teachers, parents, and students. She has testified before the Wisconsin State Legislature and local school boards, city councils and county boards. She and husband, Carl, have three grown children and eight grandchildren.
