Vibrational Medicine by Richard Gerber
I Have Chosen You is a revision of Paulist Press's longtime bestselling Confirmation preparation program, CHOICE. It helps young people spiritually prepare--through the use of shared experiences, story telling, celebration, action, and reflection--to be fully initiated into the Catholic faith, and to belong more fully to Christ and his Church. The program/process contains twenty-four sessions divided under three headings--Precatechumenate, Catechumenate, and Period of Purification and Enlightenment--and covers such diverse topics as the basics of a Christian lifestyle, a review of fundamental Roman Catholic doctrine, and a deeper look at faith as a young Catholic emerging into adulthood. The program fits well into one academic year if meetings are weekly, or two academic years if meetings are monthly. Included are discussion questions, prayers, and instructions for retreats.
Richard Gerber has spent nearly as much of his adult life studying as working, in fields as diverse as computer programming and knowledge management. His first written work was an engineering text book titled 'New Connections', published by the University of Cape Town Press. In 1987 he and his wife moved to Switzerland, where first hand experiences in the Swiss-German culture inspired this novel. Widely travelled and an avid adventurer, he loves to bungie jump and has a keen interest in 60's rock. Despite degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering, as well as an MBA, he made the transition to creative writing and published his first novel Summers Past on Amazon Kindle. Richard Gerber lives in Berne Switzerland but loves to holiday in Cape Town.
