Violet Eyes by Elaine Ramsay
On the surface, Londons hairdressing world in the 1960s is a world of glamour, wealth and celebrity. A world of excitement and opportunity. But all is not what it at first seems and the superficial gloss masks something deeper, more sinister.
Elaine Ramsay, originally from Ruislip, worked as a London hair stylist before earning her teaching qualifications and a BA from the Open University. After a Civil Service career, she retired to Leicestershire, where she pursued her passion for writing through local groups. She is a member of the U3A and the Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust. The Secret of Whylder Wood is her second novel.
