Vipers in the Storm by Keith Rosenkranz
F-16 fighter aircraft are known officially by the name Falcon. The pilots who fly them call them Vipers. This is a firsthand account of 30 combat missions in Desert Shield and Desert Storm. It is a detailed and accurate documentation of aerial warfare during the Gulf War.
Captain Keith Rosenkranz was a top-rated flight instructor and, subsequently, Top Gun in F-16 fighter training. He served in South Korea and then flew 30 combat missions--the bulk of them at night--during the Gulf War. Rosenkranz scored ten maverick missle kills on the infamous Highway of Death. He was awarded four Air Medals and two Aerial Achievement Medals. He is currently a pilot for a major airline and lives with his family in Texas. His e-mail address is ROSEYF16@GMAIL.COM.
