Born in the Ukraine, Vitali Vitaliev has lived in Russia, Britain and Australia before temporarily moving to Ireland in recent years. He is a prolific multi-award-winning journalist, author and broadcaster. A columnist for a number of British and Australian national newspapers, he appeared regularly on radio and television. His books include Dateline Freedom: revelations of an unwilling exile and Little is the Light: nostalgic travels in the mini states of Europe.
