Joyce Ffoulkes Parry was an Australian nurse. Rhiannon Evans was pro-vice-chancellor of Edge Hill University until 2009. She is currently a member of the Shadow Strategic Board for the Williamson Art Gallery and Museum, Birkenhead, and Chair of the Oxton Conservation Society. She was awarded an MBE in 2008 for services to higher education. She has also been a keynote speaker at a number of national and university conferences over the last 20 years, and recently gave a paper at a history conference based on this journal. Rhiannon is Joyce's daughter.
