The title of the book speaks for itself, in that the book is an easy to read tutorial on just how to short circuit the healthcare industry's billing system by shoving the misrepresentation and fraud in hospital billing right back in a hospital's lap. Rather than argue the details of a bill that defies understanding, the book allows you to turn the tables on the system by forcing a hospital to PROVE it even has a right to bill you, given the oh-so-clear billing restrictions under which they are required to operate. Restrictions that an in-network hospital is contractually prohibited from discussing let alone disclosing to enforce a bill. In short. the book presents the hospital with a real Catch-22. Either void your bill, or provide the legally required information and risk their entire billing system.
