A Walk Through the Bible by Lesslie Newbigin
The Bible, Newbigin says, is not a book of religion. It is a unique history of creation and the human race, with God as the central character. It is not a book which encourages us to turn away from life, but to embrace it and find God in the middle of it. An easy introduction to the Bible, this book was originally recorded as eight 15-minute programmes for radio. It contains all the highlights of how we have come to know God in the past, which will help us to find him now. An excellent Christmas or confirmation gift for a teenager, this book contains a message to remember.
