JANET GODWIN is a study skills instructor at Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom, where she works for the Upgrading Study Advisory Service and the Dyslexia SpLD service. Janet is also the author of the book How to Organize Your Essay. Janet began teaching after a career in industry, and she quickly realized that certain students' performance was inconsistent. This piqued people's curiosity in dyslexia and other learning disabilities. Janet has worked with pupils in FE/HE to help them improve their study abilities, and her dyslexic students have taught her how to best serve THEM.
