Crowned is written by ELLEN HAGAN. She is the Poetry Chair of the DreamYard Project and the co-director of Adelphi University's Alice Hoffman Young Writers Retreat. Hagan's work has appeared in Underwired Magazine and the anthologies She Walks in Beauty (curated by Caroline Kennedy) and Southern Sin, and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She resides in New York City with her husband and daughters.
