Watercolor A Beginner's Guide by Elizabeth Horowitz
This is a foundation course in watercolour painting, with clear instruction and subject matter organised in a progressive order, so as to appeal to the novice water-colourist. This easy-to-follow guide shows beginners without any prior painting experience how to develop their watercolour painting skills and personal style. It allows the reader to use their own creativity, rather than copying or emulating the author.
Elizabeth Horowitz has been a professional artist for more than 28 years. She is a member of the New York Society of Illustrators and the Garden State Watercolor Society. An accomplished artist with many awards and solo shows, Horowitz's work is in many private collections, museums and corporations. Her watercolour paintings are published as posters by the Colman Press and H.R. Rinehart Fine Arts and one image has sold more than 250,000 copies. Horowitz teaches popular watercolor classes at the New Jersey Center for Visual Arts in Summit.
