Waterhouse on Newspaper Style by Keith Waterhouse

Edited by Stella Bingham and republished in 2010, Waterhouse on Newspaper Style is still the standard, and most entertaining, manual of tabloid journalism, as important and relevant today as when it was first published in 1989.

Keith Waterhouse was born in the city of Leeds in the year 1929. In the 1990s, his play Jeffrey Barnard is Unwell was a West End blockbuster, and he has written widely for film, television, and newspapers. His most renowned work, Billy Liar, was adapted into a film directed by John Schlesinger and starring Tom Courtenay. In 2009, he passed away.
