From World of Poetry, she is a past recipient of Silver and Golden Poet Awards and over the years has written lyrics for several Contemporary Christian and Worship songs. Judi's husband, Gene, is an educator. They have a daughter, Gia, and son, Jared, and four grandchildren, as well as a daughter, Justine, who is in heaven.
