Wedding Fashions 1862-1912 by Joanne Olian
This project was designed to investigate the viability of analyzing floc particles and applying the analytical results to plant operations to help optimize and control the treatment process of surface water plants. Pilot- and full-scale studies were conducted (Dec. 2004a Nov. 2006) with City of Golden, CO, Boulder, CO and Utah Valley Water Plant and discussed in depth. Findings discussed, demonstrate that bench-scale floc particle diameter analysis predicts granular media filtration particle removal on pilot-scale. Municipalities utilizing DAF or direct filtration can benefit most from this emerging technology. For those utilities using conventional treatment, it appeared that the flocculation basina (TM)s specific design made a difference in the sensitivity of the measure. Based on this research, bench-scale floc particle diameter can provide utilities with a sound initial assessment, but pilot- and full-scale analysis may still be needed for validation purpose and to fine tune the process.| SKU | Unavailable |
