Weird Cars by Stephen Vokins
Following the success of 500 Fantastic Cars, Haynes has excelled itself with Weird Cars, a celebration of eccentric cars in all shapes and sizes - some of the most ugly, crazily designed and downright awkward vehicles of all time. Where else would you find, in one book, descriptions and photographs of automotive oddities as deverse as the Aberdonia, Gaylord Gentleman, Purves Dynasphere, Suminoe Flying Feather and Zil?
'a brilliant present for the petrol-head in your life' Daily Mirror 'utterly bonkers and strangely fascinating' Octane 'dedicated to the automotive world's most left-field diversions' The Sunday Times
Stephen Vokins has worked at the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu, for 21 years, latterly as manager of the film and video department. His spare time is devoted to writing and broadcasting about cars, and he is a presenter on Granada's Men & Motors programme. He lives at Beaulieu, Hampshire.
