Welcome the Word by Joan Brown
These are photocopy masters of worksheets to be used in conjunction with "Welcome the Word", the guide to celebrating the liturgy of the word with children. They provide practical help for anyone preparing or running children's groups, and something for each child to take home.
Joan Brown was born in Oklahoma during the Depression and spent her formative years in Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Indiana, and finally Texas. A life-long Christian, Joan's early experiences helped shape her faith; and her realization, at the age of 44, of God's love began an incredible journey. Joan is dedicated to helping people understand that the love of Christ is available to all of us. All we need do is open the door and invite Him into our hearts. And when we do, He gives us the peace He promised, no matter what is going on in our lives. Joan and her husband Jerry have been married for fifty-five years; they have three children and eight grandchildren.
