When the page is turned the image is revealed accompanied by a wacky verse explaining exactly what it is.Roger McGough was first published in the 1960s in THE MERSEY SOUND. He is one of today's most popular poets, writing for children & adults & performing his work all over the world. He received an OBE in 1997, the Signal Award in 1984 & 1998 and was honoured with the Freedom of the City of Liverpool in 2001. Roger lives in London.
