Paul Joannou has for over 25 years been Newcastle United's official historian. First watching the Black'n'Whites during the early '60s, he has written several books on the club, including the acclaimed 480-page centenary history, United: The First 100 Years & More. Also included in Paul's titles are stirring books on the Toon's famous centre-forwards, Shirt of Legends, and on the home of the equally celebrated Toon Army, Fortress St James.
